Ice and Eels predated the late 2000s food cart frenzy that swept Portland, Oregon by a good fifteen years. Appearing in the grimy heart of SE Portland on Powell Boulevard, Ice and Eels existed for approximately three years, serving some of the best seafood and ice to ever come out of what was once a horse trailer. The original cart was either dismantled by its’ owners, or ascended to heaven at the behest of a very disappointed Yahweh, who expected better from his prize eatery.
