When I draw, I make lots of mistakes. Sometimes they’re not that huge, but in the heat of the moment, I tend to chuck a drawing rather than work to fix it. When I come back to them later, I usually see things in them I really like. That’s why I try to hang onto my rejects and my sketch pages: I always end up finding ideas or shapes that I end up using later on. It’s sort of an imagination recycling program.
